WORK PERMITS

Minors (students under the age of 18) employed in the state of California must have a Permit to Employ and Work, commonly referred to as a “work permit." Work permits are typically issued by the school where the student is enrolled. A work permit must be filled out for every new school year.  Students must be hired before needing to fill out a work permit.

Steps to obtain a work permit during the school year:

1) Get a job.

2) Get a work permit application (download the application using the attachment below OR get a paper copy from the front office).

2) Get the application signed by yourself, a parent, and your employer.

3) Contact Mrs. Isaac [email protected] to submit your work permit application.

4) Mrs. Isaac will contact you when the permit has been approved and processed.
