Welcome to Justin Garza High School, home of the GUARDIANS!
I am so excited to welcome our returning and new students and families as we kick-of the 2024-2025 school year! Here at Justin Garza we are dedicated to cultivating the potential of every student. I am honored to lead the dedicated team of educators that are commited to making our students feel welcome and creating a supportive and challenging learning environment for ALL students
At Justin Garza our motto is “STAND for more”. These guiding principles are behind everything we do for our students, staff and community. We believe in fostering the whole student; academically and emotionally. We believe in learning that goes beyond the classroom. This is why we are dedicated to developing well-rounded students who leave our school prepared to make a difference in the world. Our incredible staff works diligently to create and maintain a rigorous and welcoming environment inside and outside of the classroom. At Garza we provide our students with the opportunity to take Advance Placement, Honors, ROP and Dual Enrollment courses. We also encourage them to get involved in extracurricular activities; such as sports, academic teams, clubs, etc. We believe in providing students with opportunities to explore their interests and develop their talents.
I am excited to meet all our Guardians. As your principal, my objective is to continue to support and grow the existing culture of excellence and achievement at Justin Garza. I am committed to supporting students in the classroom, on the field or court, around campus, at sporting events, and at other extra curricular activities. I want to invite our students to celebrate their uniqueness and contribute to a positive school culture. Our school is a place where diversity is celebrated and everyone is encouraged to be themselves and STAND for More.
We are confident that together the school, families, and community can help our students to thrive, not only in academics, but in our community and life! A strong partnership is an important component in the success of our work. I invite you to stay engaged and connected through our school events, parent meetings and our regular communication via Parent Square, school website and social media accounts. I am confident that together we will continue to build our tradition of excellence and create a supportive environment where every student can thrive. Together we will continue to STAND for more!
